Miloterranean highlights Milos as an international destination for geotourism, projecting the geological identity of the island through 7 selected geo-routes. Each route is a tour of the geological time, nature and history of the island and invites the traveler to explore another “hidden” side of Milos. The routes, which have been marked on the island, are presented through elaborate descriptive texts, as well as detailed maps:

Route 1 “Vani”

4 hours, car and hiking somewhere, 24 km.

Route 2 “Volcano”

1:45 by car, 2-4 hours by bike, 4-5 hours on foot, 13 km.

Route 3 “Sulfur Mines”

2 hours by car, 2-3 hours by bike, 4-5 hours hiking, 13 km.

Route 4 “Aggeria”

2 hours by car, 3-4 hours by bike, 4-5 hours hiking, 12 km.

Route 5 “Kimolos”

3:30 hours by car, 5-6 hours by bike, 7-8 hours hiking, 17 km.

Route 6 “Sarakiniko”

2 hours hiking, 4.5 km.

Route 7 “Nichia”

4 hours by car, 5 hours by bike, 6 hours hiking, 8.5 km.
