Project Description

The Museum opened in September 2008 and is housed in Adamas Harbor, in the old Community Building.

It was created by the efforts of Dr. Petros Armeni to gather a large number of exhibits related to maritime activity in Milos.

The exhibits date back to prehistoric times, with obsidian tools, navigating Salamis and ending in modern times.

At the Museum you will also have the opportunity to see rare maps, from the hands of expert cartographers, and the famous wooden boat “Peace”
